Refereeing History:
I returned to refereeing after retirement in 2010 as a way to stay involved with sport and youth.
Sports Played:
As a youth, I competed in track and field, volleyball, hockey, fastball, and curling. As an adult, in addition to hockey, fastball and curling, I have also participated in distance running, soccer, downhill and cross-country skiing, scuba diving, golf, and sailing.
Provincial History:
In addition to Conference and Regional play, I refereed 5A Girls and 2A Boys Provincial VB championships in 2010.
Teaching History:
I retired in 2010 after 30 years as a teacher and principal in Prairie Spirit (and the former Saskatoon West) School Division. My main teaching areas were history and physical education. As a teacher, I coached teams in numerous sports including volleyball, cross country, track and field, curling, basketball, badminton and soccer. I also coached community hockey, soccer and fastball.
Favourite Sport:
My favourite sport is whatever sport I’m playing.
