Coach Mr Glen Bouvier
Coaching History: I have coached for 17 years all in Ille-a-la-Crosse have 3 kids who all
graduated from Ille-a-la-Crosse and have coached all of them. I am now coaching my
nephews.
Sports Played: I have played volleyball and hockey a great deal in my younger
days,
Provincial Experience: My high school volleyball teams have been very successful over the
17 years but have been at a disadvantage geographically. We live too far north to be very competitive at the provincial level, but lately, we have beaten all odds and have advanced to provincials 4 years in a row. We have played a lot of 5A teams the last 4 years and it has paid off giving the team a lot of experience and confidence. We won the bronze medal 2 years ago in 3A ball and last year won the SHSAA sportsmanship award in 4A provincials.
Comment: Its all about rebuilding and loving the kids and giving them
opportunities.
